Spidey 4 & 5 Villans REVEALED!!!!!!

Finally!!! We know not only who the villains will be in the upcoming forth film, but also the villains for the the 5th film! Spidey's baddies this go around will be Dr. Curt Connors: The Lizard, Morbius and Kraven the Hunter! Now the plot line: This story is delving into the classic "Genetic Nightmare" storyline from the comics. Recovering from his embarrassments in the third film, (sorry, but that's what he has to be thinking) Spider-Man finds his powers are going wildly out of control. Seeking answers, Peter goes to his trusted friend and teacher, Dr. Curt Connors. It is there that Spidey learns that his body has developed a massive delayed reaction from his spider bite and it is causing him to mutate. Luckily, Connors and his colleague, Michael Morbius have already begun research into animal genetics to obtain cures for human illnesses and defects. Connors has experimented with lizard DNA to make a serum that harnesses a lizard's ability to regenerate limbs for humans, which he plans to test on his lost arm. And Morbius has conducted research on vampire bats to cure himself of a rare blood disease. After taking an "antidote" that Morbius and Connors have created to cure Spidey, it not only fails, it speeds up the process, causing Pete to sprout 4 extra arms on his torso. Trying to reverse the process/mistake he made to Peter's DNA structure, Connors tests his Lizard serum on himself to see if: 1. That it works, and 2. If it does work, to try and make a serum that would reverse the process. Upon injecting said serum into himself, Connors finds his once missing limb has grown back. A few minutes following his success, Connors watches in horror as his skin begins to change into green scales and finally into his reptilian alter-ego, The Lizard. Elsewhere, Dr. Michael Morbius is also trying to use his genetic research to help reverse Peter's mutation, when one of his genetically mutated vampire bat escapes from his cage and bites Michael. The bite, similar to Peter's spider bite, transforms Michael into a genetic Vampire. Meanwhile, reasonably freaking out/feeling responsible as to what happened to Connors and Morbius, Peter fights his mutation pains to try and stop/help the two people who tried to help him. After tangling with the genetic monsters, Peter's mutation eventually flares up mid-fight and turns him into a Man-Spider behemoth that devolves his mind into that of a predatory arachnid. Losing control the once Peter Parker/Spider-Man sets out on a destructive rampage. Enter Kraven the Hunter. With three genetic super-monsters on the lose, Kraven sets out on his greatest hunt. This storyline is going to be broken into two parts, in other words, two movies. So 4 & 5 will be the "Genetic Nightmare" storyline!!! With Raimi in full control of BOTH MOVIES, unlike 3, which explains why it SUCKED SOOOOOOOOO BAD, this latest installment(s) will be no less than FANTASTIC. So there ya have it True Believers, the Lizard, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter. I believe I speak for everyone when I say that 2011 can't come fast enough.

Spidey 4 Pushed TO 2011??!!!

You heard it here true believers, Spider-Man 4 has been bumped from May 6 of next year to May 6 of 2011. A WHOLE YEAR!!!!! Spidey isn't the only Marvel character who's movie is getting the shaft; Thor, instead of being released on July 16 of next year, has now been pushed back to June 17 of 2011. The First Avenger: Captain America, is going from May 6, 2011 to July 22, 2011 (that's not so bad...its just two months....arrrrrrrgggggggg). And the highly anticipated Avengers flick has gone from July 15, 2011 to May 4, 2012! The only good news is that Iron Man 2 is set for May 7th of next year. Thats not so bad....but holy crap this sucks that we have to wait 2 MORE YEARS for Spidey 4, Thor and Captain America!!! Not to mention 3 MORE YEARS for The Avengers!!! Which....wait....wait a second. This is interesting: All of the individual Marvel flicks will be out by 2011, followed by The Avengers a year later...and The Avengers is a superhero team that has had different incarnations over the years...You catching on to what I am saying yet? Is it possible that these changes were made so the individual movies/stories were established in a somewhat same time period so they could ALL be set for The Avengers? What if SPIDER-MAN is now being included in the mix????? Spider-Man was/is (depending on how you look at it) a member of the New Avengers...so will he be an Avenger in the 2012 movie?! Wouldn't that be Amazing????!!! Think about it: Nick Fury aka Samuel L. Jackson has been confirmed/signed on to play the S.H.I.E.LD. Commander for NINE MOVIES PEOPLE. We know he's going to be in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, The Avengers, and his own movie. So that leaves 4 UNKNOWN MOVIES. Could it be that ol' big bad and patchy brings the wall-crawler into as said in Iron Man: "the Avengers initiative"??? OH MAN THAT WOULD BE SICK!!!!!!!!!!!! So there's something to lift your spirits and think about on this sad day of pushbacks. I'll report on this and many other Spidey matters as soon as they come to light.
Stay True, True Believers!!!!

Web of Shadows & Spidey 4

Okay, so I'm sure you've played Web of Shadows by now. I have (and yes I've beaten the game on both storylines) and I must say, besides the couple weak voice overs- Spidey being the main one (sounded like a teen rather than a mid 30's man to me!)- I was impressed. The redesigned combat system was insane: The aerial, wall, and combos, I mean hello? It was sweeeeeeeet!!!!!!! I tell ya, the Spidey games are just getting better and better. I also liked how you could switch between the good ol' red and blues and the symbiote with a click of the stick whenever you wanted. The storyline was good as well, especially the red and black choices so YOU control how the story goes. Both endings were dynamite too, although, I feel the final level (I don't want to give it away to those who haven't played it yet....to those who haven', get a copy and play it ya bum!!) was fairly easy. And also, the Black suit ending....does that mean they're coming out with a sequel? Why would you set that up and not follow it through if that wasn't the case? Let me know what your thoughts are on this matter.

On to the next topic: SPIDER-MAN 4!!!! So I've heard various rumors about this movie. So before the assumptions, let us go through the truths: 1. In Spidey 3 (I'm still irked by that movie) Doc Connors had a sample of Pete's Symbiote- he still has it people- Hint Hint: Carnage ya'll! 2. Doc Connors. Character established in 2 & 3. Nuff said. 3. Gwen Stacy: Established in 3 and already had Pete come onto her (even though he was under the influence of the symbiote) and she definitely likes him....hmmm.
4 & 5. -POSSIBILITIES- 4. Norman Osborn has been in all three movies....in some form or another... Now in the comics, Norman died the same way as he did in the movie...or so Spidey and us readers thought. Norman woke up in a morgue, his impalement healed all but a ginormous scar to remind him of it. His Goblin formula not only enhanced his strength and abilities, but it also gave him a pretty significant healing factor. He hid in Europe for a while and honed his abilities. When he felt he was ready, he returned to the Big Apple with a fury that nearly killed Spidey. And I mean NEARLY. So since Harry is gone, will big bad Normie return for round two? I think so; if not this upcoming movie, then the next for sure. 5. I have watched Venom's "death" over and over again, and honestly, I'm not convinced. If you look close, it almost looks like Eddie and the Symbiote teleported somewhere. Maybe Venom isn't dead, maybe he is. I think its horrible that Venom got 15 minutes tops on 3. If that's the end of what's considered one of Spidey's greatest villains, then shame on the people who wrote 3 and shame on Sam Raimi.

Now the speculations: 1. Morbius, Lizard, Carnage, Black Cat and the Sinister Six have all been rumored to be in 4. Raimi even expressed his eagerness in doing Morbius because he combines the supernatural with the natural. Raimi also said that since Morbius came from Doc Connor's research in animal genetics-LIZARD!!!!- it only made perfect sense to bring the Lizard in as well. 2. Raimi also wanted to do the Sinister Six...but seeing as how Doc Ock and Sandman are out of the picture, and seeing as how there are various incarnations of the 6, the only possibles are Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, Electro, Rhino, Vulture, Chameleon, Scorpion, Hydro Man, Shocker and Hobgoblin. So if they do the 6, who will it consist of and how will they provide ALL of their backgrounds? 3. And now, (here kitty kitty kitty....) Felicia Hardy: the Black Cat. Rumors of her appearance in 4 have been heard far and wide, but NONE have been confirmed by anyone on the Spidey 4 crew, not even Raimi. Here's the kicker though, he HAS NOT DENIED THE RUMORS EITHER....so will Felicia be on the prowl in 4? We'll see in two years right? Let me know what you think.

With Great Power...

Just like our F.N.S.M. this blog has a beginning. I am a total geek when it comes to the world of Spider-Man. I have read all the comics, collected 90% of them, and kept up on everything and anything pertaining to the wallcrawler. I always look for new info on the 4th movie, wait eagerly for the new comics to hit the stands, and yes, i have memorabillia of spidey that could take up a whole room-which it does, my room. So I wanted to share my info with the world (and hope to gain a little too-if such information exists in the universe- I'm just kidding by the way). So lets begin. I feel I have this Great Power of Spidey knowledge and I feel it is my Responsibility to share it with you. So what are your questions? I know there are other 'Spiderlings' out there, so allow me to join in the fun. I'm ready & waiting.
